Child ID Kits
A Child ID kit could help authorities find your child more quickly, if he or she is missing. The kits contain a folder to record personal & medical information, a physical description and recent photo. The kit also contains a DNA sample kit. It is easy to use, and quick and painless for your child. You may store this sample at room temperature...no special storage is required.

If your child is missing:

• ACT IMMEDIATELY!
• If your child is missing from home, search the house, checking closets, piles of laundry, in and under beds, inside old rerigerators--wherever a child may crawl or hide. Check with friends and relatives. Check regular hang-outs.
• If you still can not find your child, immediately call your local law enforcement agency (9-1-1).
• If your child disappears in a store, notify the store manager or security officer. Then immediately call your local law enforcement agency (9-1-1).
• When you call law enforcement, be prepared provide your child's name, date of birth, height, weight, and any other unique identifiers such as glasses or braces. Tell them when you noticed that your child was missing and what clothing he or she was wearing.
• Provide your Child ID Kit to law enforcement officials as soon as possible.
